Noctiluca

Amara Neitzke
Hey! My name is Amara Neitzke, and kudos to you if you can pronounce my name correctly the first time. This is my 3rd year at North but my first year contributing to the Noctiluca. I like to think of myself as an extremely smiley and friendly person with an enthusiastic and bubbly personality. I am so thankful to work at Pet Supplies Plus because animals are one of my many passions. Along with animals, feminism is a high priority in my life, and I take great pride in leading Appleton North's gender equality club. When my days are stressful, I hide in the ceramics room and spend my time on the potter's wheel. Art has been a long time love of mine, and I never anticipate letting it go. With everything I do, I go into a situation with optimism. Writing is a form of expression that I have recently found to admire. Journalism and writing allow me to give a voice to the voiceless and that's what I love.
