Appleton United, finished business on Saturday afternoon.  After losing in the quarterfinals last season, United made sure that was not repeated.

A quarterfinals shutout against University School of Milwaukee 6 to 0 and a semifinals victory against Eau Claire Memorial 4 to 1, made United into the championship game against Hudson.

After an early goal from Hudson’s Sam Johnson in the first period, United answered.  Trenton Bliss scored  (unassisted) in second period. In the third period at 4:13, Matt Gruber sealed the victory with a goal assisted by Nathan Zilisch.
