Summer Internship The AASD is once again offering 2 summer internships to high school students. Mile of Music Summer Internship and Appleton Downtown Inc. Summer Internship. Both internships involve planning, organizing and marketing various community projects including the Mile of Music! Students engaged in either internship will have the opportunity to network with community members and will acquire skills needed in future careers. Internships look amazing on a college application and are sure to stand out on your resume. Registration Forms for either summer internship can be picked up in guidance or in the school store. Applications are due May 18th to Mrs. Dechant. If you have questions about the Mile of Music Internship, please contact Mrs. Dechant via email or in person in room 1101.  

All seniors interested in attending Fox Valley Technical College are invited and encouraged to attend a Senior Explore Day. The Explore Day is set for Tuesday, May 10th from 3pm to 6 pm at FVTC. The registration form is available in the counseling office. Please complete the form and return to Mrs. Christopher ASAP. Refreshments will be provided.

Current Juniors: If you are interested in a Nursing Assistant Youth Apprenticeship program. Please contact Mrs. Christopher in the Counseling Office. Space is limited and the deadline to apply is May 11.

Blast Bible Club: Did you know that your life has purpose? To find out more join us for Blast Bible Club every Thursday from 3:15 to 4:15 in the Career Center. We can’t wait to meet you!

Make lifelong friendships and memories by hosting a student from Japan this Summer for 1 or 2 weeks. When: July 21 – Aug 2, 2016. For more information email Mrs. Nider or check the posters around school.

There will be an informational girl’s tennis meeting in Mr. Burt’s room (1321) during IE time on Friday, May 13th.  All girls interested in playing must come to receive informational packet, schedule, and clothing order form.  See Mr. Burt before Friday if you cannot make it but plan on attending.

Boys Basketball: There will be an informational meeting for all current and potential boys basketball players. Thursday in the Lightning Room during I/E. Sign-up under Mr. Herrling if you have not already done so.
