Garret Richey, a man of many talents and hobbies, has mastered the art of juggling his many hobbies, which include drawing, music, and writing. The summer of his sophomore year, he started a new comic, which is said to be his best yet, but things like school and family interfered. Garret decided to improve in music by joining numerous bands, but never staying in them very long. While comics, his personal favorite pastime, have always been his top priority.

“Hopefully this year, I’ll be able to focus on drawing,” Garret said, “I’m hoping to do a comic for my ACA Capstone-” a project done in the Appleton Career Academy that acts as a representation of post-high school goals, “with it being for school, it should give me a little bit more motivation to finish.”

After high school, Garret hopes to go into an art-related career, but he doesn’t believe it will guarantee a decent income, even with a degree. Otherwise, he hopes to be a Creative Writing teacher and continue to write and draw on the side.
