Appleton North Artisan Faire: A Brief
November 2, 2017
On November eleventh, North’s Booster Club will be hosting one of the Fox Valley’s largest juried art events, the Appleton North High School Artisan Faire. Since the faire is juried, each vendor had to submit an application months in advance to be reviewed by a committee in order to take part in the event. From nine to three, over a hundred and fifty local woodcarvers, painters, florists, knitters, and other unique artists working in a variety of mediums will gather to sell and display their handmade creations. The smell of hot soups and sandwiches prepared by local chefs will greet attendees for lunch, as will other sweets and treats. In previous years, over 3,500 people have come, contributing to the Booster Club’s largest fundraiser. This parent and the student-run event goes toward funding North’s sports teams. Tickets cost $3 at the door and will be sold ahead of time thanks to the Copper Rock on East Edgewood Drive in Appleton. Those with pre-bought tickets will be admitted through an exclusive entrance.
