Announced in public today, Governor Tony Evers mandated the closure of all K12 schools between March 18th and April 6th. Growing concerns about the spread of COVID-19 led to the decision being made. At the moment, there are now 19 confirmed cases of the virus in the state according to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. The AASD posted that school events and classes will be canceled starting March 17th, Tuesday. Further response and action by the district and state government are being monitored. Our school is currently not scheduled to reopen until after Spring Break wraps up on April 13th.
