What is Livewire?

Noctiluca Livewire is Appleton North High School and Noctiluca’s premiere radio station. It is operated by a community of students and Noctiluca members who work to connect you with local music and ideas.

We aim to spotlight news and hidden parts of Fox Valley by amplifying its voices and sounds. We promote open media, unite communities, and magnify the hard work of artists, musicians, activists, and cultural workers like you.

Noctiluca Livewire is a project of Appleton North High School Noctiluca News. Noctiluca Livewire is a school and community-based art, culture, and news online radio station located in the city of Appleton since 2024. Livewire aims to promote innovative cultural programming by broadcasting socially engaged projects, events, organizations, exhibitions, and media.

Noctiluca Livewire is hosted out of Zeno.fm, a web-based radio platform. All advertisements on Noctiluca Livewire are a product of Zeno.fm and neither Noctiluca nor Livewire make any profit off of these ads.
