Anyone interested in playing soccer this year that would like to participate in the indoor league starting in January. Please sign up to be a part of the team. The sign up is located in the school store and it is due December 10th.

All ski trips are full except Brule and the Spring Break trip. Please see Mrs. P. Meyer with any questions.

NHS/Blood Drive: Want to save 3 lives? Do you like cookies? Do you like juice? If you answered yes to any of these questions – then donate blood next week Wednesday! To sign up, contact Ms. Vanden Heuvel in room 2354 or sign up during the lunch hours in the commons. Be sure to sign up by Friday!

Come be an ally for inclusion! Stop by the tech center and visit the Ability Exhibit. This 10 station interactive exhibit is designed to develop allies for people with disabilities, create awareness, and promote the inclusion of people with disabilities by demonstrating respect for others comfort during interactions, and education of the disability issues. Stop by during an off hour or I/E time. We are also open after school 4 pm-7 pm.

Writing entries for Letters for Literature are due this Friday in the LMC.  Entries for the Martin Luther King writing contest are due on Dec. 21.  Need more information, stop in the LMC.

Yearbook Grad Ads: If your parents would like to congratulate you on your accomplishments & your graduation, yearbook grad ads can be purchased online.  New this year, families can create their own ad and pay ONLINE. All the information needed can be found on the North website.  There are a limited number of spaces so don’t let your parents wait until it’s too late!  No orders can be placed after January 15th.

Yearbook: Have you purchased your 1015-16 North yearbook yet?  If you decided NOT to purchase one during summer registration or wanted to wait, the FINAL deadline to purchase is December 22. 

The cost is $47 and payments can be made in the main office.  Do NOT rely on extra yearbooks being available in May. 

If you have 4th, 5th or 6th period LUNCH, PRIVILEGE or RELEASE and wish to come to the LMC, you must now sign up using a new online Google form instead of getting a paper pass. Students who do not sign up using the Google form will not be admitted to the LMC. The Google form link and instructions have been sent to all student email accounts. The procedures for obtaining study hall passes remain unchanged. If you have questions, please ask an LMC staff member.

East High School is hosting a Star Wars Trivia contest on December 12, 2015 from 2:00-5:00 P.M.

Teams can be made of 1-4 players. $5 Per person entry fee. Registration begins at 1:30.

Also includes: Costume Contest, Chewbacca Sound-alike Contest and a Star Wars Photo booth.

The Appleton United Girls hockey team is goes to Wausau tonight to play the Central Wisconsin Storm at the Greenheck Field.  The puck drops at 7pm.  Good luck girls!

Library/Packers: It’s a happy Friday for Packers fans as the Packers hailed over the Lions 27-23 making Monika Lumley-Bach our prediction winner. Next week the Packers will hopefully round-up the Cowboys! 

Audition packets for North’s musical THE LITTLE MERMAID are now available from Mr. Parker in Room 1118 , in the Choir Room—Room 1204, and on the counter in the Business Office.  Auditions are open to any North student Grades 9-12 and will be held after school on December 15th and 17th with rehearsals beginning in January.  No previous experience is necessary.  If you like to sing, dance, or act, pick up an audition packet and make the newly released Broadway musical THE LITTLE MERMAID a “part of your world!”   If you have any questions, see Mr. Parker in Room 1118. 

Anyone interested in working Tech for North’s upcoming musical  THE LITTLE MERMAID should pick up a form located on the Green Room door before winter break.  Help is needed in the areas of scenic construction, costumes, lights, set painting, sound, and props.  Fill out the form and return it to the envelope on the Green Room door.  Tech work will begin in early January.

Republican Club meets this Thursday in room 1326. Wear your t-shirts for yearbook pictures.
