Wearing blue? Talking to a non-conformist on Stoplight Day

Sophie Plzak, Contributor

Carter King, a freshman, was spotted wearing blue on Monday, which was Stoplight Day, a tradition at North where single students wear green, students crushing on a certain someone wear yellow, and students in relationships wear red.

When asked why he chose blue, not a color suggested by the Student Council, he proudly, and semi-satirically, stated: “I will not let my fashion be dictated by the school, nor any other government or corporate entity.” Well stated, Carter.
