The interviews of the three candidates for the superintendent position in Appleton Area School District went very successfully, according to Vice President of the Board of Education Kay Eggert. The Board held primary interviews on April 11, saying they were very impressed by the candidates.

AASD is deep in the search process for a new superintendent, bringing in help from search firm SEC to find candidates to fill the position. The Board narrowed the candidate pool down to three finalists: Dr. Judith Baseman, Mr. Ben Vogel, and Dr. Van Truong.
