With Homecoming coming up next week, you probably have a ton of questions about next week’s festivities. What are the Spirit Day themes? How much are tickets? When is the dance? Who is the football team playing against? When are the pep rallies going to be? This article will answer any and all questions you have about Homecoming week.

The spirit days this week are as follows:

Monday is Class Colors. Freshman should wear white, Sophomores should wear red, Juniors should wear blue, Seniors should wear tie-dye, and Staff should wear their high school or college alma mater.

Tuesday is Decades Day. Everyone should choose a decade and wear whatever they can find in their closet from that decade.

Wednesday is Neon Day. Make sure you wear the brightest neon colored clothing you can find.

Thursday is Denim Day. Bring back that denim on denim outfit you saw Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake wear to the American Music Awards seventeen years ago.

Friday is Lightning Day. Wear as much Appleton North gear that you can find in your closet.

Additionally, there will only be one pep rally this year and it will be at the end of the day on Friday. There is going to be an altered schedule for that day because of the pep rally. Here is the schedule that will run on that day:

1st Hour: 7:30 – 8:11
2nd Hour: 8:16 – 8:57
3rd Hour: 9:02 – 9:43
4th Hour: 9:48 – 10:29
5th Hour: 10:34 – 11:15
6th Hour: 11:20 – 12:01
7th Hour: 12:06 – 12:47
8th Hour: 12:52 – 1:33
**Students report to Homeroom by 1:38 and will be released by grade level to the Stadium (make sure to leave your belongings in Homeroom)
PEP ASSEMBLY: 1:55-3:00
**Students return to Homeroom for belongings and remain until 3:05 bell.

Don’t forget to go to the football game on Friday and cheer on the team as they play Kaukauna. There will be many festivities going on at the game, including Mr. Lee doing push-ups for points, the pep band’s halftime show, the Homecoming Court Procession, and fireworks.

This year’s theme for the Homecoming dance will be 1920’s Hollywood. The dance will start at 8 p.m and end at 11 p.m. There will be a DJ, casino games that will run from 8:30 to 10:30, a photo booth sponsored by the Noctiluca, and a movie with popcorn. The tickets will be on sale every day during Homecoming week and will be $13 in advance and $15 at the door. This year, in order to buy tickets, you will need to have a permission slip signed by a parent and yourself. These slips will be sent out with the Parent Newsletter and in the Main Business Office.
