Brekke and Pohlman drive girls’ basketball into State Tournament

Sophomore Kari Brekke and Junior Callie Pohlman helped Appleton North into victory in the Sectional Finals against Marshfield on Saturday afternoon.
Brekke led all scorers with 18 points, while Pohlman scored the game winning basket with less than twenty seconds to go to put up Appleton North 56-54.
Appleton North will be headed to Resch Center to face Verona at 6:35 on Friday night.
