Noctiluca: When did you start football and Track?

Bo: I started track in 7th grade at Wilson middle school. I started to play football when I was 8 for Pop Warner.

N: What do you love most about sports?

B: I love the team aspect and most of all the competition.

N: What’s your favorite sports moment this year?

B: My favorite sports moment for football was competing in the Kimberly game my senior year and in the Hudson playoff game my Junior year. For track it was competing at state the past two years

N:  Which sport do you enjoy playing more?

B: I enjoy them both, but as of now track has the slight advantage.

N: How do you manage your schedule of class work and sports?

B: I manage it by doing school work during lunch and right away at home when I come from practice. For sports the coach pretty much has the practice after school but somedays we have an early morning practice or lift, so I have to cut a little bit of time off from sleeping.

N: For the young kids out there, what is one piece of advice that you’d like to give to them?

B: For the young kids, I’d say chase you dreams and anything that you’re unsure of, just do it, you never know what might come from it.

Noctiluca: When did you start playing sports?

Kari:  I started playing basketball when I was 6 years old, and I started track this year as a sophomore.

N: What do you love most about sports?

K: My favorite thing about sports is building relationships with my teammates, and having success on the court/track/field with them.

N: What is your favorite sports moment this year?

K:  My favorite sports moment this year was when we beat Marshfield in the Sectional Final. It was an incredible feeling cutting down the net and making it to State.

NWhat sport do you enjoy more?

K: Basketball (ball is life)

N: How do you manage your schedule of class work and sports?

K: I get a majority of my homework and studying completed during the day which is extremely important when I have multiple practices after school. I also save watching The Office for weekends.

N: For the young kids out there, what is one piece of advice that you’d like to give to them?

K: Be grateful for the opportunity to play sports at ANY level. It’s important to put things in perspective and realize there’s more to life than wins and loses.
